LANGUAGE MASTERY FOR EDUCATORS
"Educator" for this purpose is defined as anyone who has the right and ability to positively influence someone else whether family, student, co-worker, employee or partner.
"Student" is anyone learning consciously or subconsciously from another. We are both at any given time!
It is essential to employ teamwork throughout life in any number of endeavors. To create teamwork, it necessitates communication. The higher the level of communication, typically the better the “connection” between the individuals with increased productivity..
We know people can change. The questions are usually “Will the change happen quickly” ? “Will it be permanent”? “Will I like the change”?
Experiencing a change to the degree it changes our lifestyle or our direction in life can be an awesome task and possibly a bit daunting. It is done as a result of choice and dedication to improving one's life and is essential for personal success. Helping someone change can be a fulfilling responsibility..
Personally, what is most troubling to me is to see people struggle to make changes only to fall back because the habit returned. That's the bad news. The GOOD news is we have a system created to affect long-lasting change.
One of the ways to uncover whether or not a change is likely to stick is listening to word choices. If someone is still talking about “how it used to be”, he/she is likely to create the same circumstances. The “broken record” will repeat the recording without ceasing until a choice has been made. But for our choices, the past would be continually repeated. Not always a good thing!
The exploration in Language Mastery is to practice describing our experiences as though what we wish were already in place. Many philosophers have expounded on this principle so I’ll not attempt to reinvent the wheel. Suffice it to say, using group feedback, we can instill in an individual new ways of expression to empower and creatively apply choices for change. We ask only that one speak as though every word were to manifest now. Simple? Yes, but not always easy in the moment. It takes practice. Coaching with permission is the best practice.
The invitation is to participate in interactive classes to learn the process FOR THE PURPOSE OF POSITIVELY INFLUENCING THOSE WHO ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU.
